CitizenSecure Economy - Scheduled Benefits
The CitizenSecure Economy plan is a "Scheduled Benefit" international health insurance plan that offers worldwide coverage including the US & Canada. This plan provides a lower cost alternative to people that want coverage in any country around the world. [more information]
International Dental Insurance Rider:
The CitizenSecure plans offer a Dental Insurance Rider to their already popular International Health Insurance plans! This coverage can only be purchased when applying for one of the CitizenSecure International Health Insurance plans.
Optional Sports Rider:
The Optional Sports Rider is a must-have addition for your extreme sports lifestyle. Whether your interests include mountaineering, skydiving, or whitewater rafting, electing the Sports Rider option will add coverage up to a lifetime maximum of $25,000 for these activities excluded by the standard plan. Coverage for contact sports, such as soccer or hockey, is added up to a lifetime maximum of $5,000. The Sports Rider adds coverage for sports and athletics except those activities engaged in for wage, reward, or profit.
International Assistance Services:
All Assistance Services are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while your International Citizen Plan is in effect.
Pre-Trip Health and Safety Advisories (available after your purchase of the CitizenSecure and before your departure) - Call us for current passport, visa, inoculation and vaccine requirements, as well as up-to-date travel safety advisories.Livetravel Services - We will make emergency travel and itinerary changes for you including rebooking flights, hotel reservations and ground transportation arrangements.
BagTrak - We are the industry leaders in tracking lost checked baggage. We will help you locate your lost checked baggage and deliver it to you anywhere in the world.
Emergency Message Relay - We will relay messages to your family, friends and co-workers, helping you to maintain contact during an emergency.

Comprehensive Benefit Plans
This type of plan design is much better coverage than a Scheduled Benefit plan. With this type of plan your "out of pocket maximum" is much more certain. This also tends to be more expensive than a Scheduled Benefit design.
Scheduled Benefit Plans
This type of plan is designed to be lower priced than the Comprehensive plans. Outside of the US, the benefit levels are adequate. The most important benefit difference in this design is that the "$600 maximum per day for Hospital Room; $1,500 maximum per day for Intensive Care" can lead to a hospital billing you above your deductible for charges over the maximum benefit.
